As you can tell by the little hill shapes, I took Carla Sonheim's online class for inspiration. I highly recommend it—the videos are high-quality and she makes everything easy and fun.
During Carla's class I made a series of 15 prints. The images above are my favorite. I've also been scanning prints into my computer and layering them in Photoshop, which gives me some unique effects. This is especially great when I want to make something but don't have the time or energy to break out my printmaking supplies.
This is an image I created from scans of Gelli® prints and spray paint. Gelli® plate prints make great bases for spray-painted stencils:
A friend of mine saw it and asked me to create a version with the Gadsden flag, so that's my next project.
